My name is Heather Lynn (Gallup) Bench. I grew up in Kearns, Utah. I went to West Kearns Elementary, and Kearns Jr. High school for 2 1/2 years, then transfered to West Jordan Middle School. I went to Bingham High School and graduated in 1975. My husband of 30 years is Jerry Michael Bench. He was also born and raised in Kearns, Utah. He went to David Gourley Elementary School, then to Kearns Jr. High. He graduated from Kearns High School in 1975. He then continued his education at the University of Utah and graduated in 1981 with a Bachelors Degree in Urban Parks Management and Development. We met in our 8th grade year at Kearns Junior High School and married in 1978. We have three children (well, now grown up and married) the oldest is Mickelle (27), second is Leslie (25), and Michael (21) is our youngest. We still have our house in West Jordan and have lived in it since we were married.
